This week isn’t one for new albums, but the next few all have some promising stuff on deck. However, this week is one for tons of new songs!
Darkside finally shared details for their highly anticipated second record, The Avalanches announced a 20th anniversary edition of their watershed debut, and Sufjan Stevens announced his latest epic: a five-volume collection called Convocations. Each volume represents a different state of grieving and the first volume, Meditations, is out now. LCD Soundsystem offshoot Museum of Love announced their second record and it will feature production from James Murphy.
Finally, this week felt extra hopeful as many bands and artists announced their return to live music later this year and next. Tours from Rage Against the Machine + Run the Jewels, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Julien Baker, Dinosaur Jr., Japanese Breakfast, and more are all on sale now!
