November continues on and this week picks up the momentum just a bit as we head towards the final month of new releases for the year. Earlier this year, St. Vincent delivered her seventh album, All Born Screaming, and today she’s back with the Spanish version of the record. She kept the music stems from the original recordings and redid the vocals in Spanish with only slight melodic alterations to the translations.
Coming straight from the Sahara, Tinariwen have shared a new collection of tracks that were recorded live with no overdubs. Some of the songs are demos versions of tunes that appear on other albums and others are making their debut with this release.

British post-punks Squid have announced their third album, Coward, and with it dropped the new single “Crispy Skin.” The track follows the band’s chaotic energy and comes alive with colorful twists and turns that are driven by complex rhythms and turbulent synths.
The new album from FKA twigs is coming in early 2025 and the third single, “Drums of Death,” is a glitchy electro heater that goes hard on the beats, picking up the pace from the previous singles and brings on the clubby dance vibes, peeling back new layers as to where this record may be headed.
Following the end of his bands Sons of Kemet and The Comet is Coming, Shabaka dropped his last name and released his debut solo album earlier in the year. He’s announced a new EP will be out next month and the opening track features a sharp and humbling verse from the iconic billy woods making for one of the hottest collabs of the year.
It’s been three years since Lil Nas X dropped his debut album and while we still don;t have the official word on his follow-up, today the rapper shared a new song called “LIGHT AGAIN” and it was produced by Thomas Bangaltar of Daft Punk.
Austin, Texas band Sun June make blissful, featherweight dream-pop and their new single is another sparkling, delicate gem that hits like a salve, its delicate nature and twinkling guitar hitting like sweet morning dew or a cool breeze of a summer evening.
Sludge rockers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have a bruising new song out this week that continues their course of pummeling rhythms with punishing beats and brutal guitars. It’s a sonic onslaught that’s full of raw intensity and satisfying hits of hard grooves.
In September, hardcore noise punks The Jesus Lizard released their first new album in 26 years and it’s a killer. This week the band shared an outtake from the album that sounds perfectly in line with their existing catalogue and wastes no time going in for the kill.
Last year, Zach Condon returned with a new Beirut album and now he’s about to embark on the project’s first tour in over half a decade. This week he shared a new song from an upcoming soundtrack and it’s a more meditative tune that moves with subtle grace and a soft focus.
